Where and when
On the occasion of the exhibition Y.Z. KAMI Light, Gaze, Presence Saturday 18 February at 4.30 pm the Museo Novecento and MUS.E are offering an art workshop dedicated to families with children (from 6 years old) and inspired by the work of the Iranian-American artist.
Starting from a visit to selected works from the exhibition, which pays profound attention to the portrait, the participants will be accompanied to discover the history of this genre through the centuries – from its mythical origin, a trace on the wall to trace the shadow, to the works of the Fayyum, from the effigies of the great Renaissance to contemporary works – to then be able to elaborate a personal portrait inspired by the technique and poetics of Y. Z. Kami and thus give space to one’s creativity.
