Michele Marasco (flute) has played as first flute soloist of the Zurich Opera, the Leipzig Radio Orchestra, the “Carlo Felice” Theatre in Genoa, the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, the Scala Philharmonic, the “A.Toscanini” Philharmonic by Parma and the Orchestra della Toscana. He has played as soloist or in chamber ensembles in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York), St John’s Smith Square (London), the Wiener Konzerthaus (Vienna), the Sala Verdi of the Milan Conservatory and for the most important European Festivals – Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Ravenna Festival, September Music (Turin) and the Festivals of contemporary music of Strasbourg and Salzburg. He holds master classes in Florence, Modena and Rome. He was invited to give seminars by the Universities of Cincinnati and Valencia. Invited by Maurizio Pollini and Luciano Berio he participated as soloist at the Salzburg Festival in 1999, at the Pollini Project 2001 in New York in Carnegie Hall, in 2002 in Tokyo in Kioi Hall, in 2003 in Rome in the new Auditorium of the Parco della Musica and in 2006 in Vienna in the Wiener Konzerthaus and in Milan at the Teatro alla Scala.
Marta Cencini (piano) graduated with honors and honors under the guidance of Lucia Passaglia at the Conservatory “L.Cherubini” in Florence, she devoted herself with particular attention to chamber music studying at the School of Music of Fiesole, the Accademia Filarmonica della Scala and with the Masters Franco Rossi and Piernarciso Masi at the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento of Imola. Winner of numerous national and international chamber music competitions (Cilea di Palmi, Viozzi di Trieste, Gesualdo da Venosa di Potenza) collaborates permanently as a teacher at the Music Institute “Orazio Vecchi” of Modena, the Conservatory “Alfredo Casella” L’Aquila and the Academy of High Specialization of Imola. Her concert career has seen her perform for some of the most important Italian and European musical institutions: Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna, Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Strasbourg, Amici della Musica and Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna, Festival Valentiniano di Orvieto, Teatro Bibiena di Mantova, Orchestra della Toscana, CIDIM, Teatro Alighieri di Ravenna, Teatro Guglielmi di Massa. He is also a regular guest of the International Festival S.Gazzelloni, in which he collaborated with some of the most famous flutists in the international field, such as M.Larrieu, B.Fromanger, J.Balint, M.Marasco, A.Oliva, D.Formisano.
