Where and when
Musical curated by Cultural Association Sound Machine
I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is a chamber musical, written by Joe Di Pietro, with music by Jimmy Roberts. It is the second longevity musical among those produced Off-Broadway. In 1997 he received the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical. The success of this show was such that it deserved thirteen translations in different languages. After its debut, where it registered over 5000 appearances in two years, it is subsequently produced all over the world including the United States, Canada, England, Holland, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Turkey, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Argentina, Australia and Italy. Show by the students of the S.A.S. School of Performing Arts.
S.A.S. was born as a Professional Training Center for the Performing Arts, an academy of musical and performing arts, conceived with innovative teaching models, according to international programs, which aims to prepare its students to enter the working world of entertainment.
It is a cultural association that continues the work in the area started by other structures (including the Thunder Machine) which over the years have created educational opportunities and innovative theatrical and musical events such as the Florence City Musical, the first independent musical review in Florence or Patron. Among the first projects we remember the artistic direction of the XXVII Sound and Colors Festival in Tuscany of Rignano sull’Arno, a historic and prestigious music festival, with excellent feedback from the public and critics. Intending to continue its path in the organization of events, reviews and teaching based on musical theater, live music and prose, it continues to work in synergy with public and private structures with which it has established very fruitful collaborations.
