Strings City is a widespread festival dedicated to the music of string instruments, which for two days resounds in the most evocative cultural sites of the city. The program ranges from classical music to more contemporary melodies, giving life to an orchestra of sounds and places that makes the whole of Florence vibrate.

Strings City it is a festival of music and art: a unique experience for a weekend of great emotions. As part of the second edition of the festival, the Museo Novecento hosts two musical moments curated by the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Foundation.

Strings City is an initiative of the Municipality of Florence, organized by the Fiesole Music School with Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Orchestra della Toscana, with the participation of Amici della Musica and Florentine Chamber Orchestra, with the contribution of Metropolitan City of Florence and the support of SIAE – Italian Society of Authors and Publishers.
