On the occasion of the exhibition GAETANO PESCE, MAESTÀ TRADITA. 1956-2016 in progress until 8 February 2017, will be presented the documentary Portrait of Gaetano Pesce by Giuseppe Carrieri produced by Sky. The screening will be followed by a visit to the exhibition.

In the great variety of forms and diversity of his cosmos, through architecture and silhouettes, Gaetano Pesce has become one of the few genuine real interpreters of contemporaneity and its defects. The endless gallery of his imagination is a hymn to oppose repetition and balance, to continue inventing possible worlds. This is his irregular portrait, the fruit of his joy of living and creating.

Giuseppe Carrieri was born in Naples in 1985, and is today the director – producer of the young independent production company he founded, Natia Docufilm. With “In Utero Srebrenica”, winning some of the most important national and international documentary festivals, and arriving at the fifth of David di Donatello, he spoke about the theme of genocide. In 2014 he started collaborating with some of the most important web-television networks such as Rai Fiction, Sky, Repubblica.it, Tv2000. Together with Maurizio Nichetti, he is in charge of a Laboratory of Film Direction at the IULM University in Milan.
