Presentation of the third volume of the General Catalog of the Works, with Giovanni Faccenda and Carlo Motta.

In collaboration with Associazione Culturale Bueno.

The Museo Novecento hosts the presentation of the third volume of the General Catalog of Antonio Bueno’s Works, the final act of a painstaking scientific research work that lasted years. In this long period of time it was possible, among other things, to find some of the Master’s masterpieces believed to be missing and, at the same time, to make fruitful and fascinating discoveries. The result is an editorial product, edited by Giovanni Faccenda and the Bueno Cultural Association, published by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori, which will broaden and deepen the knowledge, even with unpublished contributions, of the vast expressive itinerary undertaken by one of the most important painters of the twentieth century. This new chapter of the catalog is structured as an indispensable reference for scholars, professionals, gallery owners and collectors.

He is also the author of the essay From Böcklin to de Chirico, the long dawn of metaphysical painting. Among the other positions currently held, that of scientific director of the Catalog of Modern Art published every year by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori.
