July 14: freedom, equality and fraternity in Piazza Ognissanti

An itinerant performance by Opus Ballet, choreographed by Anani Sanouvi, including the Museo Novecento, Palazzo Corsini and Palazzo Strozzi. In collaboration with Institut Français Firenze

After the attacks of 2015, the French Institute of Florence wants to remember the values of its national holiday with a two-day music and dance. The celebrations will begin Wednesday, July 13 with a traveling performance, which sees the involvement of choreographer Anani Sanouvi. Protagonist of an artist’s residence, Sanouvi will work with the dancers of the Florentine company Opus Ballet with whom he will realize a series of performative events in an ideal path that will connect some emblematic places of the city: the cloister of the Museo Novecento, the church of the Marino Marini Museum and the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi.

The party will culminate Thursday, July 14 at 20.00, with the final ball in Piazza Ognissanti
