The MUS.E initiative is back for children aged 4 to 12 which includes a dedicated activity
and the possibility of blowing out the candles in a reserved area inside
of Palazzo Vecchio and the Museo Novecento
After the break due to the health emergency from Covid 19, the Birthday at the museum is back (until May 2023), a proposal by MUS.E which for many years has been enjoying great success among children, their friends and their families.
To celebrate your special day, it will be possible to choose from some proposals for activities and workshops in Palazzo Vecchio and at the Museo Novecento. It will therefore be possible to invite your own group of friends, take part in the chosen activity and finally celebrate by blowing out the candles in a reserved space.
For the little ones, aged 4 to 7, it is possible to choose from the following activity: A horse in the museum at the Museo Novecento. The older ones (from 8 to 12 years) will instead be able to choose Art Machine at the Museo Novecento. All the proposals are aimed at groups of up to 20 children with 4 accompanying adults and will take place on Sundays at 3 pm at the Museo Novecento.
For whom: for children aged 4 to 12 (max 20 children and 4 accompanying adults)
When: Saturday 3pm in Palazzo Vecchio; Sunday 3pm at the Museo Novecento.
How: you choose the activity and book well in advance by phone/mail. The family of the birthday boy shows up at 2.30 pm in the afternoon to be able to set up the area reserved for small refreshments, while the activity for all the guests begins at 3.00 pm.
Duration: 1h15′ for the activity, which will be followed by the celebrations in a reserved space.
It is absolutely necessary to restore the environment in the same conditions in which it was found and free it strictly by 5.30 pm.
Costs for Palazzo Vecchio and Museo Novecento: € 5 per child (residents of the Metropolitan City of Florence) and max 4 accompanying adults free. From the fifth adult the cost is that of the museum entrance + activities. For non-residents in the Metropolitan City the cost is €10 per child and up to 4 accompanying adults free. From the fifth adult the cost is that of the museum entrance + activities. The final cleaning service, compulsory for everyone, is €20.
