His artistic research has expanded the potential introduced by sculpture since the sixties, through the critical involvement of his body and that of others, in an artistic practice that investigates the relationship between human beings, nature and the universe. In collaboration with his latest project, HUMAN, currently exhibited at the Forte di Belvedere, the Museo Novecento presents a series of documentaries that investigate the life and practice of the artist.

The movies in program

26 May, 7 July, 11 agosto, 15 September at 5.30p.m

What do Artists Do All Day?

2014
a movie by Morag Tinto
BBC production
english language
30’
The BBC followed Antony Gromley and his team to work in the crowded studio at King’s Cross during the creation of Expansion Field, a sculptural group consisting of 60 huge steel figures for the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern.
