Museo Novecento
As part of the Florentine Summer 2014, COMPAGNIA OPUS BALLET and VERSILIADANZA propose two performances of dance Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September respectively at 21.15 and 19.30, in the magnificent setting of the Museo Novecento in Florence.
Parco Danza Firenze Estate, proposes the enhancement of contemporary culture through the performing arts, focusing on a “new place” of the city that, for different reasons, offers an extraordinary opportunity to open to a new horizon of dialogue and discovery of the artistic and cultural heritage in the “city (of) the present”.
Contemporary dance is able to interpret, research and express the present at the same time as it traces the profile of the possible future. In this key it becomes a tool for a different, transversal experience, enriched by the museum space strongly marked by the highest and most recent artistic contemporaneity.
The project Parco Danza was born in recent years for the Florentine Summer from the collaboration between important realities of dance in Tuscany. In 2014 he proposed a new vocation and a different specific attention to the cultural places of the city. Maintaining a network program, the project sees the involvement of performers, new instances and languages, professionals of great artistic importance in “site-specific” actions.

Zona Interattiva is a project in the making that has been presented, in different versions, at the space I MACELLI – Teatro In Movimento in Certaldo (FI), at Cascina Valdapozzo Festival Valdapozzo Spettacolare (AL), at the Festival Fabbrica Europa in Florence, at the Parco Danza Villa Strozzi- Inhabited perimeters on contemporaneity Florence; and won the SECOND PRIZE ex-aequo of the CHOREOGRAPHIC COMPETITION DANZ’è – Festival EAST WEST ROVERETO 2013 and within the theater season 2013/2014 of the Teatro Cantiere Florida, Florence.
