The High Line is one of the interventions that has most marked the image of contemporary New York by generating a new tourism process. An intervention that arises from the redevelopment of an abandoned infrastructure and which, before becoming an architectural masterpiece, was wanted by the citizens. A park in the sky (Mimesis, 2012) clearly describes, emphasizing the social significance of this reconquest of public space.
