Fil rouge français in the collections of the Museo Novecento
Guided tour for adults

Curated by Anne-Laure Connesson, art historian, head of Les classes découverte at the Institut français Florence

Paris at the beginning of the twentieth century, experienced a period of intellectual ferment that ended abruptly with the First World War and then resumed during the “Roaring Twenties”. Center of all artistic experiences, the capital has attracted painters, poets and designers who have taken advantage of this unique atmosphere, conducive to creativity. The links between the Italian artists present in Paris in those years will be at the center of our journey that will make us travel between the lights of Parisian life and the universe of original artists such as Alberto Magnelli, Giorgio Morandi, De Chirico or Filippo De Pisis.
