An Italy far removed in time, often forgotten, a world by now unfortunately vanished; a tribute to that Italy which, after 1945, contributed to the rebirth of a country from the ashes of a lost war, reconstructing democratic institutions and creating a new national wellbeing with the same constructive spirit that led to today’s Constitution.
Amendola, Bobbio, Calamandrei, Casalegno, Chabod, Montanelli, Olivetti, Spadolini, Tortora and many other leading figures, recounted by those who were their students or friends; a series of writings enriched by Quaglieni’s reconstruction of the history of relations between the Centro ‘Pannunzio’ and the various personalities that animate the pages..
A full-round portrait of Italy as a ‘civil state’, highlighted with never-before-reported episodes, not a few of which are unexpected and even ‘politically incorrect’.
Free admission on a first come, first served basis. Admission to the museum is not included.
