FAKE/TRUE OR FALSE? THAT THIN BOUNDARY THAT SHIFTS THROUGH HISTORY
What is a fake? What is its possible definition and meaning in our society? And historically? On Wednesday, March 16, the fifth cycle of conferences “Design lessons”, 2016 edition, started: at the Palazzina Reale in piazza della Stazione, the philosopher Sergio Givone and the architect and historian Vanni Pasca talked about “Definitions” and introduced the central theme of the five conferences taking place, between March and November 2016, at the Palazzina Reale, the Limonaia di Villa Strozzi and the Museo Novecento.
This year’s speakers include art historians such as Cristina Acidini and Claudio Paolini; architects and designers such as Luisa Bocchietto and Biagio Cisotti; artists such as Salvatore Iaconesi and Troy Nachtigall; experts of luxury markets such as Giacomo Santucci.
The project is supported by the Comune di Firenze, the Florentine Civic Museums, Museo Novecento, Museo Horne, Associazione Design Italiano, Fondazione Architetti Firenze, Ordine Architetti Firenze.
