Museo Novecento
The opening of the Museo Novecento – an open book on the main movements, artists and languages that characterized the twentieth century – is an opportunity to offer a look also on the literature for childhood of that period, turning attention to the great illustrators-artists who have revolutionized the world of children’s books with their work.
Books as projects to be discovered, as real objects of art, as fairy-tale theatrical scenes, books in which images chase words – or replace them – to talk to children and young people offering them an education to the visual that has nothing to envy to the classically understood Art.
The appointments of readings-laboratories – by the Association MUS. And with the Florentine Civic Museums – they are scheduled from October to March, on Saturday at 16.30, at the Museo Novecento.
The cycle opens with the multifaceted Bruno Munari to present every month the great illustrators of the century and get to the great artists still alive.
