After being the president of Comitato Toscano di Liberazione Nazionale and participating to the liberation of Florence on August 1944, Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti (1910-1987) was among those who suffered the flood that damaged the city’s cultural heritage once again.

This tragic event happened when Ragghianti was promoting an exhibition dedicated to 20’s-30’s Italian art to pioneer the opening of a museum dedicated to XX century in Florence.

The conference will focus on the role of Ragghianti and analyze his opinion as art historian in regards to the XX century’s art.

The ticket does not include access to the museum.
