Design in Italy permeates culture, art and philosophy; it has always had an influence on customs and society being related to the continuous renovation of tastes and trends. Its success is due to the craftsmanship expertise, the spirit of experimenting and above all the artistic beauty of objects: lamps, chairs, bicycles that may add beauty and fascination to our life. Promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with La Triennale di Milano, Italian Design Day aims at promoting contemporary Italian design. On this occasion, 100 “Ambassadors” of the Italian culture (designers, entrepreneurs, journalists, critics, professors) will talk about projects of excellence in 100 locations around the world.
