GIF – GAMO INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL

Domenica 26 novembre ore 21.00

From 29 October until 10 December, the Museo Novecento is the venue for the 38th edition of the GAMO International Festival (GIF), the contemporary music event dedicated to the most innovative and interesting new productions on the Italian and international scene. Six concerts are on the playbill – which lists new productions, debuts and original projects – organised by GAMO (Gruppo Aperto Musica Oggi) and with artistic direction by Giancarlo Cardini and Francesco Gesualdi (www.gamo.it).

A premier role at this edition is reserved for the voice, understood as a musical instrument in its own right – that voice which has been a central element at the festival since the times when GAMO enjoyed the participation of Florentine soprano Liliana Poli, recently deceased.
