Presentation of the third volume of the Catalogo Generale delle Opere, with Giovanni Faccenda and Carlo Motta.
In collaboration with the Associazione Culturale Bueno
The Museo Novecento is hosting the presentation of the third volume of the Catalogo Generale delle Opere di Antonio Bueno, the final act in a meticulously-conducted, years-long scientific research project. The long timespan allowed, among other things, for many works by the master previously believed lost to be located and to make any number of other fascinating discoveries. The result is an editorial product, edited by Giovanni Faccenda and the Associazione Culturale Bueno, published by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori, which is destined to broaden and deepen our knowledge, in part thanks to many new contributions, of the vast itinerary in through expression undertaken by one of the 20th century’s most important painters. This new chapter in the catalogue stands as an indispensible resource for students, experts, gallerists and collectors.
Free admission on a first come, first served basis. Admission to the museum is not included.
