24th June, the Museo Novecento opens to public

24 giugno – Inaugurazione del Museo NovecentoOn Tuesday 24th June, on the day of St. John the Baptist, Saint Patron of the city of Florence, the Novecento Museum will open to the public. At 12 am, after the ribbon cutting ceremony by the Mayor and the city authorities, it will be possible to visit for the first time the new Museum dedicated to the 20th century Italian art.

The venue of the exhibition, the ancient Spedale of the Leopoldine in Santa Maria Novella Square – that hosts more than 300 artworks divided in 15 areas – will be open to everyone until 10 pm and it will be free of charge.

We inform you that for reasons of security the access to the rooms can be controlled by the museum staff.
