Korean dance and music at the Teatro Niccolini within the 14th edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest, with Kim Mook Won and Art Project Bora.

Musical and dance performances moving between tradition and contemporaneity. Feeling Korea will start off with Sarangga, a typical music consecrated to love, then it will go on with Sinawi, a traditional kind of music executed by an ensemble that in ancient times used to accompany the rituals of Korean shamanism. The second part of the evening will include a Live Drawing Art with the painter Kim Mook Won and the dance performance Somoo with 6 Korean dancers making up the Art Project Bora.
The fourteenth edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest will take place from the 11th to the 18th of March at the cinema Odeon, Teatro Niccolini and in other places of the city. The event brings to Italy the south Korean cinema with homages, awards, retrospectives, actors and directors. The 2016 edition pays homage to the star Ryoo Seung-wan, an actor and director among the most famous in Korea. The festival is directed by Riccardo Gelli, the creator and founder of the event, and coordinated by the vice-director Eun-young Chang.
The Florence Korea Film Fest is organized by Taegukgi – Toscana Korea Association within the Primavera Orientale, a manifestation that includes movie festivals dedicated to the East, organized by Fondazione Sistema Toscana. The event occurs with the contribution of Regione Toscana, of the Ministero della Cultura e Turismo della Repubblica di Corea, of the Comune di Firenze in collaboration with FST (Fondazione Sistema Toscana), KOFIC (Korean Film Council), Asiana Airlines, Kia – Florence Car and Museo Novecento.
