Sunday, December 5, 2021 the Metropolitan Sunday returns: all citizens will be able to visit the Florentine Civic Museums for free.

Residents of the Metropolitan City of Florence will be able to visit the Florentine Civic Museums and Palazzo Medici Riccardi for free and take part in the numerous scheduled visits and activities, made possible thanks to the support of GIOTTO, a love brand of F.I.L.A. Italian Lapis and Affini and Lucart factory.

At the Museo Novecento, young people and adults will be able to visit the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, including the large exhibition dedicated to the artist Jenny Saville: the meeting of thoughts with Roberto Francavilla and Carlo Bordoni and guided tours revolved around the exhibition. The event that is part of the Novecento live cycle, centered on the artist Gino Severini, is added in the museum.

All guided tours and activities are free for citizens residing in the metropolitan city of Florence and reservations are required. When booking, it is possible to reserve only one appointment during the day for up to 5 people.

We remind you that for the Florentine Civic Museums and Palazzo Medici Riccardi contingency is still foreseen and the entrances follow a limited number of visitors every hour. The entrances to the individual museums will be available while seats last.
