The art critic Germano Celant said that environmental intervention was distinct from objecte work in that it stemmed from an intention to tailor works to determined contexts. Declined in various languages and sensibilities, Paolo Masi’s “Parete elastica a dilatazione continua”, Maurizio Nannucci’s neon aphorism Everything might be different, Marco Bagnoli’s parabola “Two in one” and Remo Salvadori’s “Nel momento” are testament to the intense research carried out and pursued by these artists through a number of environmental installations that enter into meaningful dialogue with the Renaissance loggia.
